Working in partnership with Airedale Academy and experienced education providers, Castleford Tigers College offers students aged 16+ the opportunity to combine a variety of study programmes with an crucial insight into the sports industry.

Students enrolled at Castleford Tigers College have access to professional coaches and the guidance from professional sports performance staff alongside their studies. The course allows students to be part of the Tigers Player Development Pathway which feeds directly into the Youth Department’s Scholarship, Academy and Reserve teams.

Since the course began, various students have gone on to study at university and even become professional rugby league players with the Tigers Men’s and Women’s first teams.

Prospective students must have completed their GCSEs prior to September 2021 and can register their interest by filling out our inital form here.

Community Director Simon Fox was only too happy to unveil the revamped education programme: “The new ‘Castleford Tigers College’ offers an array of high quality, interesting and achievable qualifications for people of all ages and abilities. In 2021 we have significantly expanded to offer a real variety of courses and look forward to welcoming new students throughout the year.”
