Whole school assemblies around “Resilient Tigers” and “The Power of Yet” become the focal points with weekly sessions taking place with one set class.
The sessions are predominantly classroom-based cycled alongside physical activity and teamwork sessions towards the end of the programme. Teacher training (CPD) on further delivery can also be accessed.

WEEK’S 1 AND 2 – RESILIENCE…
- Identify what resilience, what it Looks like and why it’s important
- To identify emotional responses to challenges and setbacks and ways to manage these positively
- Ways to reframe and bounce back from perceived failure or setbacks
- Identify and demonstrate essential attributes that are needed to work collaboratively
WEEK’S 3 AND 4 – SELF-ESTEEM…
- Identify and discuss the benefits of personal difference
- Identify, discuss and assess their personal achievements, strengths and skills
- Express pride in their personal attributes and discuss what these say about them as a person
WEEK 5 – STEP COPING PLAN…
- Set targets for improvement and development, identify ways they might achieve these
WEEK 6 – TEAM WORK…
- Demonstrate being able to work with a partner and in a team listening, cooperating, contributing and encouraging
- Describe or demonstrate strategies to use for negotiation and appropriate compromise
